Kinship terminologies 5. Taboo of incest. Definition of marriage. 6. Endogamy a exogamy. Indian caste systém: concept of purity and hierarchy. 7. Typology of marriages. Economical aspects of marriage. Postmarital residence. 8. Descendence and filiation. Unilinear descendence. 9. Criticism of the "lineage theory". Bilateral/cognatic descendence. 10. Aliance theory. 11. House and the societies of house. 12. David Schneider and kinship as a cultural system. 13. Biology, substance and kinship. Kinship and the new technologies of reproduction.
