Course content
1. Function and importance of family for healthy development of the child 2. Historical development of social work with family 3. Social risks for the family in contemporary society 4. Social work with children and young people at risk 5. System of social and legal protection of children in the Czech Republic 6. Social services for families, teenagers and children 7. Specifics of children growing up outside functional family environment 8. Problems of alternative family care 9. Methods and tools for social work with children, adolescents and families 10. Current trends in social work with children, teenagers and families

Learning activities and teaching methods
