Course content
1. Definition of volunteering and basic terminology 2. Historical development of volunteering in the Czech Republic 3. Types, characteristics and ethical aspects of volunteering 4. Documents and legislation related to volunteering - supranational level and the Czech Republic 5. Volunteer programs and strategies for working with volunteers 6.- 12. Students' volunteer activity 13. Group reflection of students' volunteer activity

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Practical training (number of hours) - 16 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 26 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 10 hours per semester
