Course content
1. Ethnographic research. Relationship theory - data - interpretation. Formulation of research question 2.-3. Changes in the concept of ethnographic research, its current direction and dilemmas 4. Epistemology of ethnographic research 5. Method of observation and interviews 6. Ethical aspects of ethnographic research 7.-8. Different concepts of ethnographic research - symbolic of interactionism, autoethnography, grounded theory, "virtual" ethnography 9. Reflexivity in research. Involvement of science and its political implications 10.-11. Analysis of qualitative data 12. The process of writing ethnography and validity in ethnographic research 13. PPT research reports

interpret various theoretical approaches and their impact on different versions of ethnography
characterize different types of conflits between etnographical approaches
enumerate and characterize key studies use etnographic methods
