1) Historical and social conditions of the rise of feminism. Feminism of equality and difference. First wave of feminism. 2) The work of Simone de Beauvoir. Classical sociology and feminism. 3) Second wave of feminism - the historical and social context. Feminism and social movements. Relationship between theory and practice. 4) Liberal feminism. 5) Marxist and socialist feminism. 6) Radical feminism - libertarian and cultural perspective. 7) Psychoanalytic feminism. Postmodern feminism. 8) Ecofeminism. Postcolonial theory and the critique of "west" feminism. 9-10) Feminism of deconstruction. The critique of the category "woman".
