Course content
1. Introduction. Cultural coding of social change as a historical process and sociological imagination. 2. The question of the research method SH (consensual and conflict paradigm). How does sociology evaluate the importance of SH? 3. SH between modernity and late modernity. 4. Ethics of social conflict. 5. M. Foucault, J. Habermas, A. Honneth: limits and perspectives of critical theory of SH. Social movements and recognition theory. 6. SH and modernity. The question of social change. 7. Peaceful SH. Human Rights Movement. 8. Ecological movements. 9. Global and glocalized society and activities of SH. 10. From institution to movement, from movement to institution. 11. Rhetoric, discourse practice SH. 12. SH and ideology. 13. The issue of social mobilization and mobility of actors.
