Course content
1. Definition of the concept of social and affordable housing, social housing in the institutional and legislative context. 2. Development of the definition of the target group of the social housing system, typology of homelessness, exclusion from housing and identification of market failure. 3. Spatial aspects of social exclusion, separation and segregation, public space, identification of residential segregation locations in municipalities of the Czech Republic, social housing and social exclusion. 4. Definition of actors of social housing and the development of their roles in the environment of the Czech Ministry, municipality, non-profit organization. 5. The role of municipalities and other key actors in planning and providing social housing. 6. The interconnectedness of social work, social services and other tools to help clients of social housing. 7. Processes and procedures of the client in the housing process 8. Contact points for housing, their role in the system 9. Housing assistance, individual planning 10. Prevention of housing loss (as part of the social housing system), including the resolution of neighborhood disputes 11. The interconnectedness of social work, social services and other tools to help clients of social housing 12. Social housing in municipalities of the Czech Republic, selected approaches and practices in selected municipalities. 13. Presentation of developed assistance plans.
