(1) Urbanization, modernization (2) (Pre)history of urban social theory (3) Classical approaches of the City (4) Contemporary approaches to the City (5) Globalization and socio-spatial structures (6) Race, ethnicity and migration in the City (7) Social relations and social inequalities on the face of the City I. (8) Social inequalities on the face of the City II. (9) Urbanization under capitalism (10) Urbanization under socialism and postsocialism (11) Urban space and urban society in contemporary Eastern Europe (12) From urban sociology to the sociology of space
