Course content
1. Sex workers 1.1. Definition of terms, typology of the coditions of sex work, understanding to the social context of sex workers and connection with methods of social work. 1.2. Public policies and legislative frameworks for sex work (regulation, (de) criminalization, legalization, victimization) and influence on social work. 2. Commercial abuse and trafficking in human beings 2.1. Social-economic-political context of commercial abuse and trafficking of human beings 2.2. Mechanisms of trafficking of human beings 2.3. Explaining the concepts and legislative context in the Czech Republic and the EU (Palermo Protocol) and impact on the practice of social workers 3. Victims of crime and victims of domestic violence 3.1. Definition of terms - victim, victimization 3.2. Law in relation to victims of crime 3.3 Types of support and specifics of social work 4. Probation and mediation 4.1. Activities of probation and mediation, history and development 4.2. Types of probation programs 4.3. Legislative and institutional anchoring of the probation mediation service in the Czech Republic 4.4. Probation and mediation in practice 5. Social work with violent individuals
