1. The process of demographic ageing, its roots and implications for the functioning of social policy and the position of the elderly/ren in society. Implications of demographic ageing for the field of social work. 2. Psychosocial aspects of ageing. Perspectives of developmental psychology. 3. Life course theory. Social factors influencing the conditions of ageing. 4. Core psycho-spiritual needs of the elderly.I 5. Core psycho-spiritual needs of the elderly.II 6. Social inequalities in old age. Ageism. 7. Diversity of the aging experience influence of gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic conditions. 8. Elderly people/women from a social policy perspective. The system of services for the elderly in the Czech Republic. 9. Seniors as clients of social work. Specifics of work with seniors and their families I 10. Seniors as clients of social work.
