Course content
1. Conditions and goals of the course 2. Discussion of the background of the creation and implementation of social policy 3. Reflection of examples of social policy concepts 4. Practical impacts of social policy 5. Importance of well-being and quality of life 6. Analysis of the transformation of the systems of care for vulnerable children and persons with disabilities 7. Practical training in research skills (EMACR method) 8. Practical training in research skills (measuring real human opportunities) 9. Dilemmas of researching the quality of life and human development 10. Discussion of the development of current issues and trends of social policy 11. Reflection of specific examples of local social policies 12. Searching for solutions of selected specific issues of social policy I. 13. Searching for solutions of selected specific issues of social policy II.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
