Course content
1. Introduction to the course, statement of the requirements for graduation and definition of basic concepts 2. Psychosocial approach and individual planning 3. Cognitive-behavioural theory and empowerment 4. Client-centred approach and interview 5. Existential theory, existential analysis and logotherapy 6. Crisis intervention 7. Systemic Theories and Systemic Therapy 8. Social-ecological theory and assessment in social work 9. Community work, community planning and streetwork 10. Antioppressive approach and empowerment 11. Participatory approach and case conferencing 12. Task-oriented approach and motivation techniques 13. Critical social work, counselling and capability approach

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 30 hours per semester
