1st practise Safety in the chemical laboratory. Practical introduction to semimicrotechnics, preparing of basic tools for working with small quanta. Determination of Koffler method, purity verification of compound by thin-flim chromatography. 2nd practise to 6th practise Basic synthesis of organic compounds (esterification, nitration, oxidation, reduction, diazotation, copulation, etc.). Isolation of product from the reaction mixture after synthesis. Isolation of organic compounds from natural material. Identification upcoming preparations. Practises are chosen in ways to use the maximum of chemicals at current utilisation of all isolation processes (distillation, steam distillation, distillation under reduced pressure, crystallization) and methods of purity verification. Note: All of students begin in 2nd pracits with the preparation of ethylacetate, after comes the preparation od adipic acid and benzol acid (3rd practise). 4th, 5th and 6th practises are individual according to the students ability and skills (knack).
