Course content
1st practise Safety in the chemical laboratory. Practical introduction to semimicrotechnics, preparing of basic tools for working with small quanta. Determination of Koffler method, purity verification of compound by thin-flim chromatography. 2nd practise to 6th practise Basic synthesis of organic compounds (esterification, nitration, oxidation, reduction, diazotation, copulation, etc.). Isolation of product from the reaction mixture after synthesis. Isolation of organic compounds from natural material. Identification upcoming preparations. Note: Increased number of hours for lessons is used to include more time-consuming work focused on the synthesis and isolation from natural material.
