Selected chapters and important personalities from the history of historiography in 20th century. (Special attention will be paid to the Annales school, Marxist historiography, postmodern historiography, microhistory and history of everyday life.)

| Students are oriented in the history of modern historiography, demonstrated experience with basic texts, classifies and characterizes the works of the key international and Czech historians, assess their significance, define and characterizes the main currents and lines in modern historiography, is able to use the main Czech and world historical periodicals. |
