Course content |
The subject builds on previous education in the history of 20th and 21st century music. The main themes will be detailed probes into selected stages of music development and creation of some personalities. Increased attention will be paid to their contribution to future musical development and innovative elements in their chosen compositions. The precise thematic orientation will be determined by the specialization of the dissertation. PhD students will be led to objectify their courts by linking aspects of generally historical, musical theoretical and knowledge-based music production conditions. Part of the subject will also be targeted analyzes of selected works. Particular attention will be paid to the position of Czech contemporary music in world music culture.
