Course content
1. Introduction to studying the subject, credit conditions 2. Physical pieces of knowledge before establishing physics as a science 3. Development of classical physics and mechanistic idea of nature 4. Development of classical physics towards relativistic, unquantized notion of nature 5. Development of physics towards quantized notion of nature 6. Natural sciences in Bohemia. 7. A final recap, a summary of key historical discoveries in classical physics

Knowledge
The basic prerequisite is the knowledge of physics developments as a whole as well as in its relation to the milestones of physics history.
learning outcomes
The students will be able to analyse basic trends in physics development. Natural sciences in antic philosophy, Renaissance, development of general physics and modern physics.
