Course content
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to offer students different views on education and education in the history and present of human society. In the subject we will focus on knowledge and level of analytical skills and abilities of the student. Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject focuses on the areas of searching for the basics of education, the processual approach of education, the concept of individual and group in the educational process, family and society education, personality orientation and self-education, issues of pro-social education and new approaches to education and lifelong learning. Acquired competencies: The student characterizes the development of opinions on education and education in a socio-historical context. Student can analyze the impact of social change on education and education and can justify their impact. The student can assign to each stage the development of a significant pedagogical personality and their works. Content focus of lectures: 1. The current concept of education and its process framework 2. Educational-psychological, philosophical and social starting point of education 3. Pedagogical innovations, alternative schools and new approaches to education and training 4. Global education and its possibilities in education and education 5. Health education and healthy lifestyle in bio-psycho-social contexts 6. Changes in educational models in relation to social change 7. Education in a social and historical context 8. The concept of an individual and group in education and education 9. Communication and empathy in education 10. Classification of parental approaches and their influence on the self-concept of a child 11. Analysis of the natural and institutional environment of education 12. week - knowlege test

Knowledge
Basic overview of knowledge in social sciences at graduate level of secondary education is supposed. Basic orientation in pedagogic nomenclature, especially from areas common pedagogy and theory upbringing.

Knowledge
Student will get a summary of educational and upbringing concepts? development in the social-historical context. They will understand the historical contexture and be able to explain single concepts and evaluate their contributions. Student can analyze the influence of social changes on education and upbringing and can give reasons for their impact. Student can associate individual periods of development with important pedagogical personalities and their works.
