Course content
1. Social pedagogy as a helping discipline: definition of subject, current topics, current trends, relation to other disciplines, social pedagogy abroad 2.Methodological starting points of social pedagogy 3. Basic paradigms of helping in helping professions and institutions 4. Contributing professions and institutions in the Czech Republic and abroad 5. The role of the social pedagogue, the importance of the profession, the possibilities of applying and acting in the state and non-profit sector 6. Socialization, enculturation, aculturation in a multicultural globalized world 7. The environment as a socio-pedagogical agent and its influence on the formation of individual and group personality (environment typology, family environment analysis, peer groups, subculture and their meaning) 8. Socio-educational activities in dealing with difficult life situations - crisis situations and their classification and assistance in their solution, prevention, therapy and assistance 9. Lectures, workshops of practitioners (state and non-profit sector of educational, assisting institutions)

  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 20 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 29 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 30 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 10 hours per semester

to analyze and evaluate the specific socio-pedagogical situation and to propose a suitable way of solving it
