Course content
1. Introduction into general psychology. 2. Psychology as a science, aims of psychology. 3. Subject of psychology examination, his development in context of individual directions. 4. Theoretical and applied psychological science, ethics of psychology. 5. Determination of psyche. 6. Description of psychic phenomenons, psychological categories and phenomenons. 7. Constructs and mental representation. 8. Models of human psyche. 9. Consciousness, definition of consciousness, consciousness research, function of consciousness. 10. Changed state of consciousness. 11. Unconsciousness. 12. Sleep. 13. Attention.

Basic orientation in psychological terminology within the range of subject matter of secondary school.
learning outcomes
Student will comprehend basic problems of general psychology based on acquired knowledge of a system of psychic phenomenons, their function and mutual relations. He /She will acquire basic categories which are used for description and systematization of psychic phenomenons. He/She will use these knowledge for studying other psychological disciplines and writing papers. Student will put these knowledge to understand own psyche and other people?s psyche.
