Course content
1. Family (definitions, features, functions, socio-cultural conditionality, history). 2. Characteristics of the current family, types of family structures, family subsystems. 3. Models of family functioning: symptomatology, bipolar and lattice models, development models, process models. 4. Choice of partner (partner selection theory, maturity for marriage, dishes characteristics, pre-marriage period). 5. Typology of marital coexistence (personality features, value preferences). 6. Components of marital coexistence and their influence on relationships (care for the household and children, finance, leisure, communication). 7. Disorders of marital coexistence (intra-matrimonial and extramatrimonial problems). 8. Parenting (role characteristics, parent typology, educational styles, education disorders). 9. Roles and functions of a broader family (positive and negative influences of grandparents and other relatives) 10. Problem families in the context of functionality (overloaded, postponing, ambitious, incomplete family) 11. Clinical families (illness in the family, drug addiction in the family, violence in the family). 12. Family resilience: healthy family work, family stress, and family burden management strategies. 13. Teacher communication with pupil's parents.
