Course content
1. Basic patterns of personality development. 2. Integration period (physical, mental, and social characteristics). 3. Culmination period (physical, mental, and social characteristics). 4. Involutional period (physical, mental, and social characteristics). 5. Genesis of personality and self-concept. 6. Mental deprivation. 7. Communication in medical care. 8. Special features and rules of communication in some fields of medicine. 9. Psychology of ill and disabled people; the family?s response to serious disease. 10. Social perception. 11. Negotiation strategy with people. 12. Social groups.

Knowledge of terminology of General Psychology.
learning outcomes
Students are able to: - comprehend and apply the terminology of Social Psychology and Developmental Psychology in practice, - acquire knowledge to identify disorders, and deviations; and they are aware of the determinative factors of these deviations, - comprehend terminology of negotiation strategy in the health care system, - use medical recommendation policy, including commands and prohibitions; to negotiate with patients, etc., - apply gained skills in his/her practical training experience.
