Course content
1. Principles of mental hygiene, theory of demanding life situations. 2. Autogenic training. 3. Mantras, mandalas. 4. Yoga to tweak emotions. 5. Releasing and stretching exercises. 6. Art therapy for treatment of stress. 7. Music therapy. 8. Creativity and relaxation. 9. Dance therapy. 10. Work in groups. 11. Working with the body, anti-stress massage. 12. Self-reflection, discussion. 13. The final colloquium.

Knowledge
Basic concepts of general psychology, to describe the demanding life situations and their influence on behavior, feelings and health.
learning outcomes
Students: explain the terms of mental hygiene, psychosomatics, describe the symptoms of stress, active and passive recreation, burnout syndrom. Students practically use individual relaxing and energetic techniques and are able to apply music therapy and art therapy for treatment of stress. Students assess their own level of stress and correctly apply techniques that suit them.
