1. Introduction to the study of psychology, definition of the term health psychology, application of psychology in health care. Definition of the subject of health psychology (development, subject, aims, theories) 2. Communication skills in health care - verbal and non-verbal communication in health care practice. Principles of communication in different types of patients 3. Categories describing the psyche (consciousness, unconscious, behaviour, experience), Psychic phenomena 4. Cognitive, emotional and motivational processes (issues of anxiety, fear, pain in patients) 5. Personality of health personnel 6. Health and quality of life (quality of life in selected diseases) 7. Theoretical definition of health and resilience, Psychoneuroimmunology 8. Consequences of trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder 9. Burnout syndrome 10. Hopeful ways of coping with life's difficulties 11. Choking hygiene 12. Challenging life situations - Frustration, deprivation, conflict. 13. Challenging life situations. Stress - Stages, stressors, coping mechanisms, acute stress reactions, post-traumatic stress disorder. Psychohygiene
