Course content
The methodology of work with the literature text in foreign language teaching at elementary schools, its goals (linguistic, cultural, educational, understanding of the aesthetic text objectives). Ways how to work with literature (basic information about writers, key passages, drama, expressive reading, interpretation etc.). Specific areas of Russian literature: Old Russian literature as a source of ideas about thinking of a medieval man. Relationship of author´s biography and their work. The best of Russian romanticism and realism. The experimental line of Russian literature. The theme of the war and the topic of nature. Finding freedom of spirit. Art and ideology. Typical models of literary characters and specific genres of Russian literature as an expression of the national character. Fixed worlds, anti-utopia and science fiction. Adaptations of literary works (theater, film) with Russian examples.
