Course content
|
1. Verb phrases their meaning and their use; nouns expressing material and the way of expressing quantity; word-forming sequence; 2. Expressing time relations; lexical and grammatical exercises and the analysis of short texts; practising of noun declension and of verb phrases; 3. Expressing time relations; the meaning of words in Russian language (polysemy); verb phrases; proverbs and familiar sayings; transformational exercises; 4. Metaphor, metonymy, the meanings of the selection of words; different use of "TO LIKE" (to like to do, to like sth) in Russian; 5. Synonymy and its types (practical training and a work with dictionaries); 6. Expressing the course of action; practising of synonymy (verbs); 7. Expressing the course of action; synonymy in the semantic field of education; 8. The selection of prepositional phrases; homonymy text analysis; 9. Expressing repeated action (practising); antonyms, paronyms exercises and working with dictionaries; 10. The selection of Russian phraseology; working with dictionaries; 11. Listening, text analysis and working with dictionaries; 12. Presentations of students' works; 13. Revision, suggestions for practice.
