Course content
|
The specific content of the course is partly situationally variable and depends on the current social and political situation in the RF. The realism and topicality of the communication topics is key. Practical language. Survey: use of a foreign language during holidays. Reflection on the purpose of studying a foreign language (TBL). Personal plan for further self-development. Methods of reading V-CH-D and I.N.S.E.R.T. 2. Working with preconcepts: the outward appearance and character of a person. Expressing requests, apologies, assurances, hesitations. 3. Appearance of a person. Expression of praise. Brainwriting. Collaborative writing method. 4. Human exterior. Dress-code. Formal and informal type of culture. 5. Style, fashion, Clothing. Telecollaborative project: interview on lifestyle trends with partners from abroad. 6. Character of a person - character traits. Test: typology according to sensory preferences and its application in learning. 7. Portrait and character in literature. Knowledge competition. 8. Character traits in phraseology - Russian-Czech comparison. 9. Diseases and health care. 10. At the doctor's, professional medical care. Folk medicine. Stage plays. 11. Spa care. Method of narration from different time levels and from the position of different speakers. 12. Providing first aid. Crisis situations. 13. Repetition. Evaluation of activities. Formative assessment. Individual assessment of learning outcomes. ICC: 1. Overview of information sources. Methods of quantitative and qualitative monitoring of Czech media in relation to Russia. Linguistic means of persuasion and propaganda. The phenomenon of labelling. 2. Who is the Czech Russianist of the XXI century? Who is the Russian language teacher of the XXI century? Simulation of TV discussion: the potential of Russian studies in the interpretation of contemporary events. 3. Working with a map. The theory of mental mapping. 4. Formation of national identity, analysis of the text of the anthem (Russian, Czech, Ukrainian, Belarusian and others) in terms of identity and values. 5. System of (national) values, values as the core of culture, onion model of culture, culture as an iceberg, Russian culture in the typology of cultures. Semantic analysis of official state speeches in terms of values. 6. Basics of imagology. Autoimage, heteroimage, metaimage. Image of the state. Brands of states. 7. Ethnostereotypes. 8. Keeping a weekly intercultural diary. Reflection and sharing of diary entries. Transformation of intercultural situations into didactic exercises. 9. Language as part of national identity. Language policy. Fundamentals of political linguistics. The QuitaUp tool. 11. Semantic and quantitative analysis of a selected current media text. Speech portrait of a selected personality. 12. Presentation of visualization of information about a selected intercultural phenomenon (pictures, associogram, Venn diagram, T-diagram, graphs, tables, pictograms, infographics, etc.). 13. The question of measuring IKK levels - descriptors.
