Course content
|
1. The term social-cultural approach, linguistic culturology, intercultural communication, national identity and multiculturalism. 2. Facts and linguistic facts in MFL - the definition of terms and development of the subject. Different concepts. 3. Introduction to imagology. Russia's image among Czech authors. 4. Theory of mental mapping and mental map of Russia - use in teaching Russian. 5. Risky areas of intercultural communication and wrong understanding in relation to Russia. Working with the mass media in teaching Russian. 6. Analysis of Russian textbooks relating to social-cultural approach. Social-cultural themes in RVP (general educational program). 7. Working with authentic materials in the social-cultural approach, especially with visual material, lyrics and map. 8. Precedential texts as a reflection of national culture. 10. Phraseology and idioms. Connotative lexis. 11. Application of the social-cultural approach in teaching language means and speech skills. 12. Multicultural environment of the current school - work with native speakers in Russian lessons.
