Course content
Principles of connectable devices, their properties, types and uses. Buses and interfaces, types and principles of operation. Processors and memories, parameters and comparisons. Graphics cards and principles of image processing. Power sources and cooling of PCs and components. Data storage devices (HDD, SSD, SSHD, Blu-Ray, etc.). Keyboards, mice and other input devices in terms of their operating principles. Monitors, projectors and touch devices in terms of their operating principles. Principles of image and text acquisition using 2D and 3D scanners. Networking of PCs and components. Classical and 3D printers, principles of printing. Sound cards and principles of sound acquisition and processing. Practical tasks suitable for understanding the control and interconnection of modules using industrial buses. Technologies used in smartphones.
