Course content

- General characteristics, principles and of information and database systems and their using at different levels of the educational system. - Entities in the database model of the school information system. - Principles, procedures and rules related to the using of school information systems in the roles of the teacher, pupil and parent. - Designing entity-relationship model with inclusion of important entities of the educational institution's information system. - Practical introduction with selected educational information and database systems. - Components and modules of school information systems, their use in pedagogical practice (practical use of modules of school information systems). - Administration of school information systems and their modules. - Technical and visual interconnection of the information system with the school website. - Systems, web services and software developed for the purpose of managing and organizing team work with regard to the conditions and environment of the educational institution. - The practical use of web services and software developed for the purpose of managing and organizing team work with regard to the conditions and environment of the educational institution.
