Course content
1. Definition of art (attempts to define art and changes of the modernist paradigm) 2. Art and psychoanalysis (Freud, Jung, Lacan, Žižek) 2. Art and psychoanalysis (surrealism etc.) 3. Institutional criticism, art as life (Duchamp, Broodthaers, conceptual art, Fluxus etc.) 4. Art and kitsch, ideology and critical thinking (Cindy Sherman, Barbara Kruger, Roland Barthes etc.) 5. Death of the author, deskilling and reskilling 6. Art vs. art therapy 6. Realization of own topic 7. Realization of own topic 8. Realization of own topic 9. Realization of own topic 10. Realization of own topic 11. Realization of own topic 12. Reflections on own work, artist vs. theorist 13. Reflections on own work, artist vs. psycho-analyst

to interpret, justify and apply the theory of artefiletics;
to interpret, justify and apply the theory of hermeneutic interpretation of the artwork;
to recognize and interpret the history of art.

to use different art techniques and procedures for the realization of the artwork;
to verbalize and to formulate in writing the conclusions of reflection and self-reflection in relation to the creative process and its interpretation;
to cooperate in cooperative work in the group.

Knowledge
to interpret, justify and apply a deepened theory of cultural aesthetics (mainly art history, aesthetics, philosophy and psychology);
to interpret, justify and apply the deepened theory of perceptual and productive hermeneutic interpretation of the artwork;
to interpret, justify and apply the deepened theory of 4 levels of expressive experience and its mentality;
to interpret, justify and apply the deepened theory of sociocognitive challenge and the relationship between concept and preconceptions.
Skills
to identify, analyze and evaluate the key moments in the interpretations performed, which determine the course of the creative process and the resulting work, and then abstract them into more general categories and theoretical concepts;
to identify, analyze and evaluate a subjective approach in the interpretation process;
to interpret and paraphrase the artwork in a visual (expressive) and verbal language;
to find and implement alterations for the receptive and productive interpretation of the artwork;
to demonstrate the ability of expressive group work and cooperation;
to lead a constructive dialogue on the interpretation of the artwork and the expressive experience;
to verbalize and formulate in writing the conclusions of reflection and self-reflection of the art experience in relation to active knowledge.
