1. Introduction - art after 2000 (Contemporary art in the context of modernism: postmodernism, metamodernism, altermodernism) 2. Tendencies of contemporary art 1 (internet art, materialism, ecology) 3. Art and Art Education 1 (Virtual and Physical) 4. Tendencies of contemporary art 2 (art and critical thinking, autonomy vs. commitment) 5. Art and art education 2 (Inclusion, ecology, citizenship education) 6. Tendencies of contemporary art 3 (art and politics of identities) 7. Art and art education 3 (self-knowledge) 8. Tendencies of contemporary art 4 (conservative art, non-academic art, kitsch) 9. Art and Art Education 4 (Craft / Modernism / Concept in Art Education) 10. Art and (non) public interest (academicism / pop culture, high / low art) 11. Art and art education 5 (Exceeding the limits of the school institution) 12. Institutions: trade fairs / biennials (commercial art / institutional art) 13. to clarify some artistic concepts in history of art or in contemporary art with the aid of concrete examples of artworks;
to characterize and distinguish various properties of different materials.

to explore the properties of various materials and to use them in their own artwork;
to design and to realize an artwork in relation to chosen concepts;
to analyse, to interpret and to critically evaluate their own artwork.
