Course content

Students will be acquainted with basic requirements for writing a master thesis. The first part of the course consists of lectures structured around three main topics: defining the research project (defining a problem, a research question, or a hypothesis); collecting information (identification of relevant sources, distinction between primary and secondary sources, specificities of sources in PIL); writing a thesis (academic style of writing, referencing). The second part is based on students' presentations of topics related to their master thesis and the discussion within the class.
