Course content
|
Lectures 1. General principles and procedures of first aid, rescue chain, legal responsibility. Uniform first aid procedure: pre-medical first aid, rescue services. Emergency call, communication with the operations center, procedure after arrival of the help desk. Accident protection, safety. 2. General examination of the victim, basic life functions. Basic classification of handicapped (START methodology). Positioning and transporting the wounded. IZS. 3. Unconsciousness - First Aid. First aid in shocks. 4. Basic urgent resuscitation. ERC Guidelines 2015. Ensuring airway patency, artificial lung-to-lung respiration, indirect cardiac massage, automated external defibrillation. 5. Procedure for basic urgent resuscitation. Urgent resuscitation for drowning, choking. Specifics of urgent resuscitation in children. 6. Wounds. Bleeding arrest. Bleeding external - arterial, venous, mixed. Internal bleeding. Bleeding from body openings - first aid. 7. Other serious injuries: skull, brain, spine and spinal cord injuries - first aid. 8. Injuries of chest and abdomen - first aid. 9. Injuries of locomotive apparatus, fractures of bones, injuries of joints, muscles - first aid. 10. Thermal injuries: burns, frostbite, hypothermia - first aid. 11. Electric shock. Chemical injuries: burns of skin, mucous membranes, eyes, burns of mouth and throat, esophagus and stomach. Inhalation of suffocating and irritating substances. 12. Explosive injury, crush and blast syndrome. Polytrauma. 13. Acute coronary syndrome, chest pain, severe arrhythmias. 14. Stroke. Varicose states. Dyspnea states. Urgent conditions in diabetes. 15. First aid for drowning. Sudden childbirth outside the medical facility - first aid. Intoxication - technical and medical first aid. Exercises 1. Practical training of rescue chain activation. Communication with the rescue center. Examination of the condition of the victim. Sorting the wounded - START. 2. Techniques of first aid and equipment, technical first aid: undressing of the garment, removing the helmet, rescuing. Vital signs monitoring. First aid material equipment. 3. Practical first aid training for unconsciousness and shocks. 4. Practical training of CPR, ensuring airway patency, diagnosis of respiratory arrest, recovery position, cardiopulmonary resuscitation - breathing from lungs to lungs, artificial pulmonary ventilation with aids, indirect cardiac massage. 5. Practical training of CPR. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation supported by an automated external defibrillator. 6. Practical training in stopping bleeding by direct compression, using a compression bandage, a pinch. Treatment of loss injury. 7. Basics of dressing technique: bandage and patch bandages, bandage bandages. 8. Practical training in the treatment of skull and spine injuries. Injury of pelvic and humeral girdle, long bones and joints. Treatment, ways of fixation. Transport. 9. Practical first aid training for chest and abdomen injuries. 10. First aid for electric shock. Thermal injuries. Technical First Aid. 11. Practical first aid training for circulatory problems - sudden chest pain, angina pectoris, acute heart failure, arrhythmia. 12. Practical first aid training for respiratory problems, airway obstruction, hanging, drowning, asthma attack. 13. Practical first aid training for fainting, sudden stroke, convulsions. 14. Practical training of first aid in intoxications, acute complications of diabetes. 15. Granting credit.
