Practicals 1. Introduction to ergotherapy - psychosocial approaches. 2. Principles and key concepts of ergotherapy for psychosocial dysfunction, mental health, stigma of mental illness. 3. Introduction to psychiatric care for patients, institutional and community care. Group therapy. Basics of family therapy. 4. The relationship of body and mind-impact of the activity on mental health. 5. A comprehensive approach to health. 6. Ergotherapeutic process in psychiatry-assessment, planning and intervention. Overview of basic ergotherapeutic approaches and models for psychosocial dysfunction. 7. Introduction to non-verbal and expressive techniques. 8. Fundamentals of supportive therapies. 9. Psychotherapeutic systems-an overview. 10. Principles of communication and establishing of a therapeutic relationship with specific client groups. 11. A psychological approach to patients / clients. Fundamentals of transactional analysis. Communication.
