Course content
1. Amputation techniques and their complications. Prescription of orthopedic and prosthetic devices. Protetometry - scanning of measuring documents. Prosthetics DK - introduction, indications and contraindications. 2. Prosthetics DK - Syme, Chopart, Pirogof, transtibial amputation, transfemoral amputation, stump bed systems 3. Prosthetics DK - disarticulation in the hip joint, stump bed systems, congenital defects 4. HK Prosthetics - introduction, amputation in the hand region, transradial amputation, disarticulation in the elbow joint, transhumeral amputation, disarticulation in the shoulder joint, stump bed systems 5. Orthotics HK and DK, options for equipping with orthotics and their prescription, adjuvants. 6. Bandaging techniques of amputation stumps 7. Construction of prosthetic aids - production technology 8. Construction of prosthetic devices - combination of components 9. - 10. School of walking with a prosthetic aid, school of grasping with a prosthetic aid, ergotherapy and physiotherapy

  • Contact hours - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 20 hours per semester
