Course content
The course summarizes the course and results of the first year of doctoral studies. Doctoral students present the development of their research and creative plan, including: Research goals and creative plan - presentation of the main goals and expected results of the doctoral project. Methodological framework - presentation of the research concept, selected methods and justification for their choice. Research questions - formulation and explanation of the main research questions that accompany the project. Literature review - summary of the professional and practical literature that has been studied so far, focusing on key sources and their relevance. Presentation of key findings - systematic and visually clear presentation of the main findings, supplemented by a selection of visual material, texts and citations. Professional discussion - 10-15 minutes of discussion after the presentation allowing for feedback, questions and evaluation of the proposed procedure and conclusions. Evaluation criteria - Evaluation includes the logical structure and clarity of the presentation, the quality and timeliness of the sources used, the ability to synthesize theoretical and practical outputs, and the ability to critically reflect on the development of the project.

better understand, reflect on, and describe the connections of their own creative work to the broader socio-cultural context, understand the interpretation of a work in terms of individual sensibility, personal creative and metaphorical thinking, and the organization of social application of creativity, independently search for relevant information from the above-mentioned fields and use it in the interpretation of their own and perceived creative work, independently prepare and deliver a professional lecture summarizing their own research project - effectively presenting research results both visually and verbally, defend their conclusions and methodological approaches before a committee with sound argumentation, reflect on critical feedback and confront it with their own conclusions, formulate key theses and research questions with respect to the theoretical framework of the dissertation, analyze and interpret scholarly literature and other sources relevant to their own project, connect theoretical knowledge with practical research outcomes.
