Grammar Topics: Present tense vs. past tense Modal verbs in different meanings (should/might/must/may) Future tense: will vs. going to Passive Conditional sentences - 1st and 2nd type Phrasal verbs (basic) Indirect speech (basics) Conjunctions and compound sentences (and, but, because, although, when, if) Thematic areas of vocabulary and communication: Work, job interviews, part-time jobs Problem solving (complaints, lost things) Planning and decision-making Description of the future, hopes, goals Media, technology, social networks Cultural differences, travel, international environment Lifestyle, health, environment Argumentation, expression of positions and proposals Problem solving, negotiation, decision-making Written speeches (formal letter, request, report, article, summary) Preparation for oral speech: presentation, discussion, higher-level interviews
