Stress. Culture and art. Appearance and characteristics. A world of information. Computer and internet. Society, values and us. At the post office, at the bank. Earth. Climate, weather, ecology. Business, business, money. Fashion and clothing. Design. Cars and motorists. Modern Czech history. Schooling in education. Standard vs. non-standard Czech.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 400 hours per semester
  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 100 hours per semester
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 25 hours per semester

- knowledge of Czech grammar and vocabulary at level A2 according to CEFR

- use language resources of level A2 according to CEFR in spoken and written communication

Knowledge
- distinguish the individual declension forms of nouns and adjectives in the singular and plural - distinguish the forms of perfective and imperfective verbs - distinguish standard and non-standard linguistic means - knowledge of vocabulary of B1 level according to CEFR
Skills
- use a formal or informal way of communication appropriate to the situation in written and spoken communication - use the correct declension forms of nouns and adjectives and all verb tenses - find, summarize or analyze information in text or listening from the field of everyday life - express their opinion and justify it - write letters and e-mails related to everyday problems
