Course content
Thematic areas: Declension of borrowed nouns and nouns with less common endings. Singularia tantum and pluralia tantum. Forms of dual, declension of numerals dva, oba. Declension of pronominal conjunctions. The infinitive and its function in a Czech sentence. Word formation. Czech verb prefixes, their use and meaning. Pronouns of všechen, všechna, všechno. Quantifiers mnoho, málo. Standard and non-standard Czech. Colloquial Czech and dialects in the Czech Republic. Expressiveness and emotionally colored words. Expert, interest and professional communication. International words and technical terms. Neologisms and archaisms. Book and poetry words. Description and poetic description. Characteristics of the person. Workflow description. Message. Report. Reflection and Essay. Interpretation.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 400 hours per semester
