Week 1 Introductory lesson. Introduction to the course, introduction to the syllabus and course requirements. Communicative activities. Orientation in time, parts of the day, days of the week. Expressing time. Week 2. Time. Days of the month. Date. Appointments. Modal verbs. Week 3. Modal verbs. The day's activities. Leisure activities. What we like. I like swimming. X I like swimming. Week 4 Important personalities of the Czech past. Work with the text. Past tense - third person singular and plural. Past tense - third person singular and plural, practice. Week 5 Past tense - first and second person singular and plural. Past tense - communicative activities. Week 6 Verbs know, know, can. Mid-term test. Week 7 Where have you been? Preposition of the place v/ve, on, at. Preposition of v/ve, na + locative singular. Week 8 Story in the past. Listening. Working with text. Travelling. Names of countries and their forms in the singular locative. Weather. Week 9 Holidays. Verbs talk, chat, hear, read about + locative singular. Future tense. Week 10 Future tense. Preposition of the place k/ke, to, to. Preposition to + genitive singular. Week 11 Where are you? X Where are you going? Electronic communication. Communicative activities.
