Communicative skills, dialogues, completing Unit 3. 5. At an international exhibition. Text, exercise. Specific terminology. Business cards, invitations and advertisements. 6. Unit 4 ? grammar practice, Business correspondence vocabulary. Presentation basics. 7. Revision. Credit test. 8 . Business terminology. Business letter samples. Practice. 9. ?Golden Ring ? ? Russian historical towns. Revising verb patterns. 10. Traveling to Russia. Unit 5 ? Grammar, exercise, Verb aspect. 11. Moscow - experiences and tourist attractions. Guides. Students can: - read texts related to the acquired topically related word groups - express their opinions - find specific information in frequently used materials, including advertisements, timetables, product descriptions. - describe a scene from a film or everyday life - correctly use the basic vocabulary from the acquired topics - correctly use more complicated grammar structures - write letters, reports or texts on current issues

speak in Russian about general and advanced topics using the knowledge of phonetics, orthography and grammar
express the basic ideas of a newspaper or internet article
read and analyse advanced texts
write a simple coherent text on a known topic or a topic of interest

Students can: - correctly use grammar structures in everyday written and oral communication - talk about topics related to everyday life, e.g. family relations, living conditions, sports achievements, basics of business communication - correctly use the vocabulary related to shopping, travelling and staying abroad - hire services they need by phone and via e-mail - use a range of vocabulary and phrases to communicate confidently in familiar situations - write longer texts - understand spoken world - summarize a newspaper article or a radio programme
