Course content
1.Bryophyta, Marchantiophyta, Anthocerophyta 2. Vascular plants - Cormobionta. Basic terms (systematics, taxonomy, methods of systematic botany). Historical overview of the concepts of classification systems. Evolution. 3. Origin of the vascular plants, telomic and stellar theories. 4. Overview, evolutionary relationships and characteristics of Rhyniophyta, Zosterophyllophyta, Trimerophyta 5. Equisetophyta, Lycopodiophyta, 6. Polypodiophyta 7. Cycadophyta, Ginkgoophyta, Pinophyta 8. Gnetophyta, Magnoliophyta - basal dicotyledon - ANITA + Magnolia branch 9. Monocotyledons - Liliopsida 10. Rosopsida - Ranunculales, Proteales, Caryophyllales 11. Rosopsida - Eurosids I 12. Rosopsida - Eurosids II 13. Rosopsida - Asterids - Euasterids I, Euasterids II
