1. Introdution to protection of environment. Basic terms. Living environment and its componennts. 2. Nature conservation. Protected territories. 3. Diversity protection. Protected species of plants and animals. 4. Anthropogenic air pollution, climate and greenhouse effect, global warming, ozone, ozon layer and its waste. Air pollution, smog. 5. Water and its cycle, water in atmophere, hydrosphere and cryosphere. Utilising of water and water sources. Water pollution. Water protection. 6. Soils - definition and charakteristics. Utilising of the soil, its degradation and intoxication, food production. 7. Human health and environment. 8. National and global aspects. Global problems of livin environment. Ecological catastrophes. 9. Natural and civilization risks, perception, risk assessment and management. 10. Wastes. Sources of energy and raw materials. Renewable resources. 11. Biodiversity. 12. Environmental education. 13. Living environment in the Czech Republic. History of environment protection.
