Course content
1. Development of Czech castellology, a discipline within European context 2. Typological concepts in Czech castellology 3. Castle as a construction-technological issue 4. Development of Czech castles 5. Castles of the Late Middle Ages and modern period 6. Modern fortification architecture 7. Castle and landscape 8. Castle as a symbol 9. Castle and its economic background 10. Research of torsional architecture, castle grounds and their specifics 11. Protection of castles, torsional architecture, possibilities of conservation and presentation
