Course content
1. Introduction to museology. 2. World history of museums 1 3. World History of Museums 2 4. Czech History of Museums 1 5. Czech History of Museums 2 6. The theory of museum selection. The theory of museum thesauration. 7. The theory of museum communication. 8. Special issues of general museology: museum legislation. The museum as an institution. 9. Museum organisation and management. 9. 10. Descriptions of collection objects. Registration of collection objects. 11. Storage of collection objects, including excursions to museum depositories. 12. Presentation of museum collections. The museum as a research and scientific workplace. The museum as part of the education system. 13. Legislation of archaeological work (conducting archaeological excavations, ownership of archaeological finds).
