Course content
|
The course is designed for students who wish to complete PhD Archaeology degree in the respective academic year. The exam from Archaeology is a part of State Final PhD Exam (Sub-programme Specialization). It is an oral exam in front of a jury, which generally lasts about 30 minutes. Defence of a part of PhD thesis submitted by a student is a part of it. The course and other requirements of the exam are regulated by the Study and Examination Statute of The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.

A successful completion of the doctor final exam shows that the student acquired sufficient knowledge, skills and competences in accordance with the requirements of his/her respective study program and study field.
