Course content
Basic topics: 1.Basic stages of the development of archaeology 2. History of Czech archaeology 3. Major personalities of European and Czech archaeology 4. History of archaeology in the region 5. Specialization of archaeological work 6. Organization of archaeology, types and mission of individual institutions 7. Possibilities of cooperation with natural scientific and technical disciplines (examples of partner institutions) 8. Illegal archaeology 9. Reading, analysis and evaluation of specialized text and other information sources 10. Specialized writing and citing of sources 11. Pictorial and other attachments of specialized texts 12. Archaeology on the Internet

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 39 hours per semester
