The state final examination consists of four parts: 1) defence of the bachelor thesis 2) an examination in archaeology of prehistoric, medieval and modern times (Archaeology of Prehistory 1-6, Archaeology of Medieval and Modern Times 1-5, Archaeological Seminar 2-4) 3) examination in archaeological theory, methods and field research (Non-Destructive Archaeology, Archaeology by Excavation, Archaeological Theory, Archaeological Method, Remote Sensing and Geophysics, Documentation Methods in Archaeology and Digital Archaeology 1-2) 4) Elective 4a) examination in Burial Archaeology (Death in the Past 1-2, Biological Anthropology for Archaeologists 1-2) 4b) archaeological conservation, museology and archaeological heritage management (Architectural History 1-2, Management in Archaeology, Heritage Management, Museology and Monuments, Castellology)
