Course content
Main topics: 1. Selection of excavation methods. 2. Performance and checking of excavation works.. 3. Performance and checking of field documentation. 4. Performance and checking of the registration of finds. 5. Collecting environmental samples and their registration. 6. Keeping the field journal within a partial section of the investigated area. 7. Elaboration of a partial report, including the elaboration of field documentation into digital clean copies.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Practical training (number of hours) - 120 hours per semester
  • Individual project (40) - 48 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 40 hours per semester
